As the Management Accountant you'll support the Network Cost Director and the Network Cost and Balance Sheet Controller to provide a proactive financial and management accounting service to the Chief Finance Officer. This role will support business decisions, provide monthly budgeting and forecasting of all operational expenditure and maintain financial control of the Balance Sheet Management Accountant Accountant ACCA CIMA ATT Finance Essential Skills Minimum part qualified 2 Years completed ACCA/CIMA, AAT qualified individuals with experience of managing the month end function to Trial Balance and preparing draft Management Reports. Extensive experience of Excel- to VLOOKUP and pivot table level is essential to this role Must be computer literate with knowledge of MS Word, Outlook & Excel Aptitude for picking up new IT systems. Proven experience working within accountancy or transactional finance. Ability to reconcile complex accounts and have excellent attention to detail. Good verbal and written communication skills. Able to produce short reports and analysis on a subject which both fellow finance professionals and management can understand. Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships both internally and externally at all levels. Confidence to question or challenge data or processes Ability to work under pressure and meet conflicting, varied and demanding deadlines Maintain excellent organisational skills and effective prioritisation of tasks. Be willing to learn with a positive 'can-do' attitude. Ability to demonstrate a good team ethos. Demonstrate a flexible approach. Ability to understand reasons for variations in results from target and articulate those reasons to management at varying levels. Analytical skills - able to investigate and analyse data, identify trends and anomalies and help determine their cause. Self-Motivated-able to work with minimal supervision, & to turn work around quickly, whilst still maintaining a high level of accuracy. Desirable Skills A graduate with an Accounting/Finance related degree with 2-3 years relevant finance or accounting experience. Prior experience using Navision would be advantageous.
