As a member of the customer services team, your main priority will be to make sure that their customers have a great experience. Dealing with both retail & trade customers, along with suppliers, you'll be at the spearhead of all dealings with the company. They are passionate about great customer experience and if you would like to join the team, keeping the customer as your main focus must be the most important thing to you too.

Main duties

- Welcome customers to the business and be the first point of contact through incoming calls, email or live chat.
- Listen to customers and manage any problems or requests they may have showing warmth and genuine interest, clearly understanding their issues and concerns and handling these in a speedy and efficient manner.
- Work together with your colleagues to make sure that you deliver great service every time.
- Monitor and manage all reported customer service issues using our internal management system, ensuring all deadlines are met and issues resolved within the timeframe we expect.
- Keep your line manager up-to-date with any problems and follow up when necessary.
- Liaise directly with suppliers to check the progress of reported issues and order any replacement parts as necessary.
- Keep customers updated as to the progress of their reported issue wherever possible.

Skills Required:

- Ability to focus on the customer's needs and treat any reported issue with respect and urgency
- Strong communication skills with a polite telephone manner
- Strong IT skills that enable you to use our internal management system effectively
- Attention to detail, ensuring all interactions are documented as necessary to ensure the issues are resolved swiftly
- Ability to write concise emails in a professional tone
- The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
