National Account Manager - Discounters

Our client is a major player in branded FMCG and is clearly established in the UK with strong relationships with all of their customers. Due to continued growth they are now looking for a National Account Manager to join the business and manage their growing discounter portfolio, identifying new opportunities and developing new business.

Reporting in to the Account Director, you will have had some experience in dealing with discount retailers in a responsive and professional manner. You will be handling the day to day contact and liaison with the customer as well as developing a business development strategy to fully exploit all the opportunities available.

Ideally you will have experience within branded food or drink, but overall they just want someone who is tenacious with strong communication skills and who will, over time, be able to make an impact to the sales growth for the business.

The salary is negotiable upon experience but is likely to be £50-55k+ benefits
