A leading Global Financial Institution is seeking to employ an Agile Business Analyst based in London.

Hours 35 per week/permanent.

The Agile Business Analyst will assure delivery through the entire life-cycle of the project of user requirements through to live, provide expertise in DevOps pipeline tools like Jenkins and Ansible and work within Medium sized and medium complexity technology projects - these may span across multiple business units and / or geographies. They will lead agile engineering teams using DevOps practices such as test automation, continuous integration and continuous deployment. Furthermore, they will collaborate with Business stakeholders (e.g. Product Owner) to design proposals, facilitate and participate in inception workshops to create a shared understanding of user needs and the potential technology solution required to deliver to these needs as well as help set the vision and internalise the trade-offs between business strategy, technology, and customer experience.

The Agile Business Analyst will research the customer from many perspectives, looking to reveal underlying challenges and opportunities, use scientific methods and evidence to build deep understanding and empathy for customers, also test ideas and look for opportunities for innovation by observing peoples' interactions and experiences with products and services, either in a usability lab, or out in their environment. They will provide creative direction, develops style guides, and produces graphic assets as well as produce mock ups and prototypes of solution proposals using tools such as iRise to help products realise their vision as well as support the Product Owner to evolve Product roadmap, creation of epics and writing of user stories and managing the product backlog, Moreover, they will create analysis of customer journeys and product functionality, help to define and track metrics and Performance Indicators for the product and guide the Agile Team performance and outcome metrics as required. Finally, they will provide expertise in at least 1 technical capability/competency, such: as cloud, mobile, digital, security, core banking, micro services, capacity management and architecture platforms.

The successful candidate will be a graduate and will have the following:

  • Expertise in Agile engineering practices (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, LEAN) as well as Disciplined Agile and SAFE framework experience
  • Prior experience working in a Business Analyst / Design role
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Extensive experience working within an agile environment.
