Advantage Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Service Analyst on behalf of a major defence client based in Preston. This is a 5 month contract position with an ASAP start.

The client are at the forefront of the UK’s defence industry and offer an innovative and fast paced place to work.

The Service Analyst will manage the delivery of aspects of IT Service Delivery.


* Delivers ITIL aligned operational processes and integrates suppliers that do so.
* Conducts data analysis techniques ranging from data aggregation and Management Information reporting (MI), to statistical-based analytics in order to identify patterns of activity and conduct root cause analysis
* Integrates and Co-ordinates internal and external suppliers to achieve agreed service levels and quality standards
* Develop and Co-ordinate plans across multiple suppliers and deliver and communicate those plans.
* Carries out technical delivery and operational activities associated with a technology or group of technologies.
* Problem solves using standard analysis techniques (e.g. the 5 Whys) to get to root cause and is developing diagnostic skills and experience.

Skills and Experience required:

* A Service Analyst with extensive experience across one or more areas of IT Service delivery
* Ideally ITIL Foundation trained
* Knowledge of working within a SIAM operating model would be beneficial
* Self-motivated and be capable of managing suppliers and other stakeholders to deliver quality output on time.
* It is highly beneficial if you hold SC Level Security Clearance for this role
