Position: Mechanical Assembly Fitter

Sector: Manufacturing & Engineering

Location: Bredbury, Stockport

Shifts: Permanent Nights

Nicholas Associates (Engineering, Manufacturing & Technical) are recruiting on behalf of an engineering client for a Mechanical Assembly Fitter to join their Bredbury based team.

You will be responsible for and assisting in Maintaining Records, Pressure Testing, Non-conformance and Corrective Actions, Mechanical Record Books, Auditing and Calibration

Main Responsibilities

* Assembly of Large Components.
* Pressure Testing.
* Processing high volumes of fitting requirements.
* Connector assembly.
* Read engineering drawings.
* Maintaining and promoting Health and Safety procedures.
* Adapting to new fitting

The Person

The successful Mechanical Assembly Fitter will have:

* Knowledge of Air & Oil related tools.
* Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings and specifications.
* Accuracy and attention to detail.
* Good communication skills.
* Flexible and adaptable to change.
* Problem solving
* Pressure testing.
* Ability to assemble large components.
