JavaScript Developer / Full Stack Developer

We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated JavaScript Developer / Full Stack Developer to become part of a small, talented team and play a vital role in the development of a leading digital learning platform. You will be responsible for developing new features and scaling our product to serve our growing global customers.

Our product is gaining a lot of traction in the digital learning space, we already have 30,000 users and some big-name customers using our product all over the world.

The successful JavaScript Developer / Full Stack Developer will be primarily responsible for developing products in line with security and performance best practice. You may also be involved in customer liaison, management of incidents, supporting colleagues, reporting on progress and resolving technical issues.

To qualify. You should be a JavaScript Developer / Full Stack Developer / JavaScript Full Stack Developer / Node & React JavaScript Developer / Full Stack Developer (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) or similar with a friendly proactive attitude and a CV that demonstrates:

Essential Skills:

  • Javascript, ES7, ES6;
  • API Development with Node.JS;
  • Linux/MAC OS;
  • TDD, e.g. Mocha, Chai;
  • A desire to learn new skills;
  • Experience in software development working with other engineers;
  • Good verbal and written English language communication skills. You are not shy from writing technical requirements/documentation;
  • You are a motivated, pro-active, self-starter with a success orientated attitude;
  • The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines in a real-time operational environment.

Desirable Skills:

  • React;
  • Have experience working with PWA's;
  • Continuous Delivery / Continuous Integration;
  • State management, e.g. Relay, Redux;
  • API's Service Workers, Web Workers;
  • SQL Databases, e.g MySQL;
  • Selenium Tests;
  • Docker, Kubernetes, Vagrant;
  • OAuth2, SAML;
  • OWasp, ISO27001, GDPR.
