Alexander Daniels are looking to appoint an Accounts Payable Assistant to join a great client based in Walsall. This role will be to start as soon as possible and is a permanent opportunity. To be considered for the position you will have experience of the following:-

* Registering supplier invoices
* Logging invoices and distributing to other departments for authorisation / matching
* Statement reconciliations
* Posting supplier credit notes and journals
* General housekeeping of the purchase ledger
* Resolving supplier queries
* Other ad-hoc accounting duties as required
* Supplier payment runs
* Familiar with use of EDI systems and KPI management

The ideal candidate:-

1. Must have at least 18 months experience in a purchase ledger role and be available for immediate start
2. Competent in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
3. Administrative experience in an office environment
4. Working to deadlines and time constraints
5. Able to prioritise and multi task
6. Good attention to detail and data/info accuracy
7. Able to understand clear instruction

You must be available for interview/start as soon as possible and will be happy to commit to full time working hours. On-site parking and canteen available as well as excellent offices and clear progression path
