Becoming a Resource Planning Analyst with Employee Solutions:We are currently recruiting for a Forecast Planning Analyst to join our organisation on a full time permanent basis. Based within our bright modern Flagship office in Darlington, you will with initially focus on helping to improve real time management and the driving of performance and KPI achievement. Excel based Resource Planning experience is essential for the role.What you will do:You will be responsible for a mix of front and back office planning and will produce accurate supply and demand forecasts and complete detailed forecast variance analysis to support the Operations area in making optimum use of resources to achieve internal and contractual agreed service levels and meet business plans. * Produce short, medium and long-term plans for back office Operations focusing on both supply and demand drivers. Analyse all supply and demand components using appropriate techniques and tools, providing insightful commentary and making and tracking recommendations. * Able to produce forecasts and schedules for front office functions at daily, weekly and interval level. * Acting as a subject matter expert you will be responsible for driving real time performance of the front office team in close co-operation with the Operational management team. * Undertake ‘planned vs actual’ analysis and carry out detailed root cause analysis to provide challenge and improve planning accuracy. * Lead and contribute to formal interactions within our best practice Operational Management Framework (OMF) including Mission Control Meetings, Planning/Loading/Variance meetings and Monthly Operating Committee meetings. * Ensure planning processes adhere to the OMF and share best practice across the planning communityYour experience will include: * Previous experience in an excel based Forecast planning role is essential * Client Facing experience at planning level, with ability to manage relationships accordingly * Good Knowledge of Planning Principles (Planning, scheduling etc) * Strong analytical skills and highly numerate to support with forecasting techniques * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to disseminate large amounts of information, shape into detailed plans and reports and present conclusions * Strong organisational, planning and time management skills with the ability toPrioritise multiple tasks, working to challenging deadlines * Strong Maths skillsAbout Employee SolutionsCapita Employee Solutions (CES) is one of the largest employee benefits consultancies in the UK; a multi award-winning organisation servicing over 1,600 clients and more than 4 million company employees and pension scheme members.
