The Organisation

A global premium FMCG business based in Surrey is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to assist their expansion across the UK market. They are on the search for someone who can be as exceptional and outstanding as their products and join their exciting and engaging working culture.

The key purpose of the Logistics Coordinator is to ensure that the 3PL warehouses have received the stock and that the stock levels are controlled and maintained, and any issues in relation to this are reported.

The Role

* Dealing with the 3PLs and tracking that the shipments have arrived at the warehouses
* Managing the orders that have been processed by the customer service team from start to finish via the ERP System to ensure they are delivered On Time and In Full
* Being the first point of contact for the information flow between the 3PL warehouses and the company
* Identifying any potential new opportunities to increase the efficiency of freight management
* Ensure that any delays or incidents have been reported by the 3PLs and use the findings from these reports in the weekly Operations meetings

The Person

* Demonstrate a general commercial awareness
* Previous experience managing customer or supplier relationships
* Strong work ethic
* Ability to work in an ERP system environment and intermediate or better Excel skills
* Previous experience working in a fast paced role
