Would you like to work for a well-established manufacturing company who over the next 5 years will be expanding, which will result in an increase in staffing levels? They currently have plans in place for a brand-new state of the art manufacturing plant and are investing heavily for the future.

Our client currently has a requirement for a Stores Team Leader on a regular day shift at their Brighouse site.

Key Requirements for the role

* Organising Production priorities within the department and ensuring work goes out on time
* Responsible for all aspects of Health and safety within department
* Ensure PPE is available and used correctly
* Ensure all staff are working to manufacturing instructions
* Liaise with other departments to ensure customer orders are met
* Report on productivity targets. (KPIs)
* Editing and sending the weekly TNA Report
* Issuing WIP NCRs when required
* Ensure that good housekeeping practices are maintained within the department.
* Adding and approving Holidays taking in to consideration workloads in department
* The Deputy will be expected to conduct themselves in an exemplarily manner both in attitude, attendance and commitment to the company
* Training of staff as and when required.

Person Specification

* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
* Engineering / Manufacturing Background
* Able to demonstrate an understanding of priorities and manage work in accordance with deadlines
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure
* Computer Literate
* Experience of Lean Manufacturing
* Attention to detail
* Stock control & Goods in Experience
* Warehouse / Stores experience
