Job Description An experienced full-stack developer is needed to help build our web-facing application, back-end services and front-end presentation layers, using the latest AWS technologies such as lambda, Dynamodb, step, SQS, and SES, as well as some more traditional areas which are hosted in ASP.net MVC on EC2. Your primary responsibilities will be to design, document and develop these applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team to build a coherent and smooth user experience, along with some maintenance. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential. Responsibilities - Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications - Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable modules - Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications - Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems - Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation (e.g. Jetbrains Teamcity). Skills - Proficient in C#, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems including MVC, Entity Framework, .net core. - Node.js and python are used extensively in AWS lambda to avoid cold start delays. - Familiar with various design and architectural patterns - Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server, Postgress and Redis - Experience with popular web application frameworks, such as Angular2, React, or Polymer - Familiarity with Amazon offerings such as Dynamo, S3, Lambda, Simple Email Service and EC2 - Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git - A knack for writing clean, readable and reusable Code and libraries - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming - Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application - Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes - Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests - Familiarity with continuous integration - An ability to coach and help others will be useful We Offer We have an entrepreneurial environment where ideas matter, where employees are rewarded with competitive salaries, comprehensive benefits, company hangouts, lunch-&-learn sessions, skills development and plenty of recognition for their great work.
