We have an exciting opportunity for a Leading Hand Engineer with an existing site installations experience in a Team Leader position. The role will be based from our Swadlincote office with Project locations throughout the UK and Ireland.

The Role:
As our new Leading Hand you will work with a team, leading a group of up to 10 men, the work locations could be anywhere in the UK / Ireland. You will have the ability to communicate with people at all levels, including Clients, and be organised with hands on approach.
Working hours: 39 Hours per week, Monday – Friday. A flexible approach to work is required due to the site demands (some weekend work may be required).
Skills / Experience Required:
To be successful in the role of Leading Hand Engineer you will need to have the following:
* Mechanical Fitting and Pipework experience
* Experience in organising materials and job sequences
* Knowledge of safe working practices (permits, risk assessments etc)
* Some knowledge of electrical and pneumatic equipment would be an advantage
* Knowledge of routing valves, process & services pipe work, Platforms
* Excel, Word, SMSTS
Qualifications:
You will need to possess a Mechanical Engineering qualification (Fabrication and welding in City& Guilds or equivalent, NVQ3 in welding).
