New Business Executive

We are actively seeking an enthusiastic New Business Executive to join our rapidly growing creative client - this is a very exciting role with the opportunity of international travel. You will need to be proactive and ready to hit the ground running. Experience of consultative style selling to Blue Chip companies and dealing with people at all levels is an advantage as is experience of the exhibitions industry, but all applicants with experience selling B2B will be considered. We are looking for a unique individual who is dynamic and entrepreneurial and who can see opportunities for the business when meeting and talking with prospective clients. A good understanding of where exhibitions fit within the marketing mix is required and a passion for new opportunities in experiential and digital.

Responsibilities will include:

* Seeking out new business opportunities through cold calling, inbound enquiries, show walking and networking

* Assist in the response to new business opportunities

* Providing status reports

* Set up meetings for account management team to take briefs

* Present credential to new client prospects

* Maintain accurate records of customer contact information on ACT

* Working strategically to develop the pipeline of new business

* Keep up to date with industry trends, the market and competitors

* Attending industry events to meet new contacts and generate business

Skills required

* Marketing degree and/or at least 1-2 years in a telemarketing/sales role essential

* Good teamwork skills

* Excellent communication skills and networking ability

* Strong presentation skills

* Adaptability

* Good administrational and planning skills

* Confidence working in a client facing role

* Ability and willingness to travel
