An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to the Finance team based at our Boston site on a fixed term contract.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

* Prepare monthly management accounts within 4 working days of each calendar month.

* Preparation of schedules and journals including stock valuations, prepayments, rebates, etc

* Ensure consistent and correct nominal coding for all transactions.

* Preparation of supporting schedules for balance sheets reviews.

* Manage Intercompany transactions and monthly reconciliations.

* Bank Reconciliations including foreign currency accounts and invoicing discounting facilities

* Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports / KPI’s to various cross functional departments

* Support fixed asset register on monthly basis

* Provide reporting holiday cover for other member of finance across the division.

* Assisting with the audit preparation work.

* Support various new business projects including design, implementations and roll out.

* Support the annual budget and re forecast process, where necessary.

* Supporting and reviewing Labels Aged creditors on a quarterly basis.

* Collation of annual insurance declaration information

* Support development of the IT systems and reporting to support business decisions.

* Identify and report upon internal controls and business risks to finance manager.

* Document systems and procedures to ensure business continuity.

* Conduct area safety inspections on a quarterly basis and complete paperwork.

Key Requirements:

* Ability to communicate effectively on all levels to financial and non-financial audiences.

* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

* Ability to prioritise own work and work of others to meet deadlines to achieve targets in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

* Forward thinking.

* Problem solving and decision-making ability appropriate to the role.

* Leads by example having a strong work ethic.

* AAT Finalist or equivalent – includes QBE.

* Strong transactional management accounting / general ledger experience

* Ability to communicate with audit teams and 3rd party providers.

* Computer literate – Advanced in Microsoft Excel.
