Job Title: National Account Manager - Electrical/Plumbing channels

Salary: Up to £45k + 20% bonus and other excellent company benefits

Location: Field Based

Evolve Recruitment are currently seeking a National Account Manager - Electrical/Plumbing channels for our client who are a well-established, large, reputable organisation with a strong presence in its industry sector.

Key Responsibilities:

* Form a close relationship with the Marketing Team to develop the brand strategy and expand Brand recognition within the Professional channel
* Convey a consistent brand message in line with the overall brand strategy
* Work closely with the product team to identify and develop product opportunities in line with channel requirements
* To liaise with European product teams to secure a united product development approach
* Build and implement a solid & workable channel plan in conjunction with the Head of National Accounts
* Prepare a brand plan annually with anticipated channel growth including revenues
* Explore other distribution channels to further grow the Professional National Account business and drive the brand within the UK
* Work closely with the Brand Manager, to develop & advance brand into the Professional market sector
* Maintain and develop relationships with existing national accounts within the Electrical/Plumbing channels
* Maintain annual business plans at account level in conjunction with the corporate strategy
* Overall P&L responsibility from gross turnover to operating income
* To provide end user support to specific customers, when required, to aid business growth
* Maximize turnover and profitability with existing accounts to achieve overall company targets
* Identify new opportunities for business growth within existing accounts & prospects through strategic product range development and promotional planning to maximize business to achieve turnover and profit targets
* Forecasting – providing business with monthly turnover estimates in line with target/budget expectations when requested
* Communication – keep internal stakeholders (management, finance, logistics, marketing, product development and customer services) up to date with key developments in accounts within the channel
* Work closely with the Head of National Accounts to develop & advance range into the Electrical/Plumbing channels in the UK

Key Skills:

* Commercial experience and Knowledge of the national accounts within the electrical and plumbing channels is a must
* Proven track record in consistently achieving sales targets
* Possess strong interpersonal and presentation skills; including both written and verbal communication
* Good time management skills to include the co-ordination of multiple projects, ability to work with minimum supervision and delivery of results within strict deadlines
* IT skills, power point, excel and word; we are looking for someone that has the skill set to analyse and report data to the Head of National Accounts in order to aid with electrical and plumbing channel evaluations, analyse data and create appropriate presentations to customers in the market place to deliver the correct messages
* The ability to think strategically and in consideration of the bigger picture
* A highly motivated self-starter with strong individual and team working skills
* UK travel and occasional European travel will be required
* Excellent MS Office skills including Word, Excel (intermediate level), Outlook, PowerPoint etc.
