EMEA Head Data Science and Analytics Enablement
A leading Global Financial Institution is seeking to employ an EMEA Head Data Science and Analytics Enablement based in Birmingham.

The EMEA Head Data Science and Analytics Enablement will report into the Regional Head of RBWM (Retail Banking Wealth Management) Data, Analytics & CRM (Customer Relationship Management) for EMEA and this is a key Analytics leadership position supporting the successful, development and industrial implementations of the analytics function for the Continental Europe and MENAT. They will be accountable for developing the advanced analytics function into a source of sustainable competitive advantage and will be accountable for the return on RBWMs investment in advanced analytics for the CE and MENAT. Moreover, they will be accountable for all aspects of the Communications Hub and Intelligence Hub programmes within the CE and MENAT as well as for driving best practices of advanced analytics, developing and implementing Communications and Intelligence analytics roadmap ensuring close alignment with each country business priorities and the global roadmaps, leveraging the wider data and analytics teams’ capabilities.
The EMEA Head Data Science and Analytics Enablement will lead and coordinate the development of new analytical capabilities across the regions as well as ensuring the right business partners across the business are identified, appropriate business cases are developed, budget sought to see the capabilities through to delivery. They will be responsible for developing and delivering an ongoing communication plan to engage and educate business partners across all lines of RBWM business across the region, also for showcasing the developing capabilities, showing positive impact to our customers, people serving customers and revenue, playing a key role in shifting the organization to the future state. They will generate business profitability, grow market share by supporting business with best practice and industrial implementation of analytical enablers, maximize business opportunities and increase the value of customer relationships via the development and deployment of the Communications and Intelligence HUB and through leveraging Advanced Analytics across each RBWM business according to the characteristics and needs of the market. Additionally, they will have an integral role in the Analytics CoE leadership team to help to shape and drive the overall CoE agenda working with the Group stakeholders from Analytics and wider RBWM teams.
The successful candidate will be a graduate and will have the following:
- Substantial experience of hard-core analytics experience with expert knowledge of Advanced Analytics techniques and data enablers to this.
- Must possess in-depth knowledge of banking products and services.
- Excellent problem solving and analytic skills, leadership and management skills.
- Must have expert level communication skills and ability to influence at a senior level.
- Must be expert level at drive change through a matrix large Global organization
