We are currently recruiting on behalf of an excellently resourced SEN school based on the outskirts of Hastings, who are looking for an SEN Teacher to start in January 2019, on a part time / long term basis up until Easter 2019. The hired teacher will be required to teach across subjects to a group of KS3 students, who struggle with learning difficulties
The school are hoping to appoint an experienced SEN Teacher who is looking for a ‘long term’ assignment and is also happy to teach a variety of subjects . The current timetable with be 2 days a week, Monday and Tuesday.
What you will need to apply
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)- This can be obtained via the traditional PGCE route or Teach First/ SCITT
* At least 2-3 years experience teaching in the UK. (Although the school are happy to consider teachers who were trained in Australia/ New Zealand/ Canada)
* Experience working with Special Educational Needs.
* Have a valid DBS registered to the DBS Update Service.
* Be able to provide 2 references from your 2 most recent employers
