With safety, quality, efficiency and customer service as a priority the Costing Analyst within ISE is a critical part of the business. Using your ERP & accounting knowledge, you will facilitate the accurate and timely delivery of manufacturing accounting. In this role, you will monitor product costs, ensuring accuracy and investigate variances.

You will need to be highly motivated and proactive with a good knowledge of SQL reporting and manufacturing processes. Good IT and analytical skills are essential, and an ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines to ensure the delivery of our key business objectives. Having the necessary skills and capacity to meet a demanding customer delivery schedule, is key to the success of this role.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

*

Liaise with different business partners to understand business process’, key challenges and the data requirements

*

Develop processes and reports to allow analysis to be used throughout the manufacturing process.

*

Provide timely, relevant variance analysis to operations to drive committed results

*

Prepare monthly margin analysis and variance reports (product, customer, product group) and provide insight to business partners regarding product line and customer profitability

*

Prepare and maintain the standard cost system (including the updating of rates and throughputs)

*

Support key sourcing and make vs. buy decision making projects as needed.

*

Provide cost forecasts and analysis for new product development initiatives.

*

Support timely completion of cost-based intercompany pricing updates.

*

Assist in analysis of product margins.

*

Other projects and ad hoc requests as assigned

Qualifications:

* HND in a relevant business qualification or equivalent

Experience:

* Working knowledge of cost analysis

* Experience working within a manufacturing factory

* Ability to set up and maintain SQL reports

Skills, training or special knowledge

* Computer literacy (including excellent command of Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook)
