The Company

We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join a professional support service business. We are also happy to consider strong administrators who do not have any payroll experience.

The Role

This is a busy role which requires an eye for detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks and strong administration skills. Key responsibilities include:

* Manage all expense claims, validate and approve

* Manage the department e-mail inbox

* Respond to internal queries from other departments

* Payroll Processing - Check and convert timesheets ready for payroll processing

* Follow the payroll process through to end to ensure payments are made accurately and on time

* Answer adhoc payroll queries from internal and external sources

* Period End Processing / Payroll Data Processing including Statutory Payments / Deductions, Tax/NI codes, Payroll Adjustments, Pensions

About You

* Ideally have payroll experience/knowledge - not essential though for an experienced administrator

* Strong administration skills

* Able to prioritise and manage own workload

* Good communication skills

* An eye for detail, able to spot mistakes quickly
