We are currently working with a high end professional law firm that is looking for a Compliance Administrator to assist generally with the day to day function of the Compliance Department. As Compliance Administrator, you will become an integral part of the team, helping to run the day to day operations in the compliance team and ensuring that all compliance is managed effectively in the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

To include (but not limited to):-

* assisting staff in opening files for both existing and new clients;
* carrying out online AML and credit checks for both existing and new clients;
* online research into prospective clients before on boarding;
* daily maintenance of client ID and company information, both electronically and in hard format. Scanning and uploading electronic copies of all clients’ ID held, both current and historic, onto Database to enable it to be viewed internally from desktops;
* keeping up to date a list of all matters on “cash prohibited” and circulating regularly to all staff for outstanding items;
* deal with audit of customer KYC in line with new GDPR regulations which came into force in 2018;
* thereafter quarterly audit of customer KYC;
* point of contact for any timesheet issues including, revaluing time, transfer of time, blended rates and discounted rates;
* responsible for charge out rates generally to include setting up new rates and keeping updated the charge out rates sheet;
* keeping updated the list of blended and discounted charge out rates that apply to clients/matters;
* arranging and maintaining annual online training courses in line with our staff training obligations, and keeping file of certificates up to date;
* assisting with file audits to ensure client files meet regulations;
* notifying PI insurers re: joiners/leavers;
* amending firm templates;
* keeping the firm’s SRA profile updated with respect to joiners/leavers;
* keeping up to date register of undertakings and circulating to staff on a monthly basis;
* keeping up to date register of gifts/hospitality and sending quarterly reminder to staff that gifts/hospitality should be reported to compliance;
* keeping up to date register of PI complaints;
* assisting the BCP management team on regular testing of the BC systems;
* Assisting the COFA with audit and review of client ledgers/files to help ensure SAR compliance;
* Review of residual balances and ensuring timely archiving of files;
* Ad-hoc compliance tasks as instructed by the Compliance Manager/COLP/COFA
