Sport Warehouse Manager/ Sports Coach
To support the department in achieving and sustaining a growing and profitable business through the full management and organisation of required resources, ensuring SCL becomes the largest provider of school sport, wraparound and holiday activities within the regions we deliver.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Holidays
* Accurately report on current stock/resource levels .
* Manage equipment allocation to venues, ensuring all equipment is signed in and out of the warehouse.
* Manage and organise the transit of equipment to venues.
* Work to the expenditure budget set and ensure all purchases and orders are processed correctly.
* Seek out efficiencies and cost savings through effective ordering.
* Maintain general tidiness all of areas to ensure compliance with Health and Safety Regulations.
* Manage a team of support staff to ensure an efficient turnaround of holiday equipment including replenishment of equipment at current venues.
* Ensuring all new venues are appropriately resourced.
Term-time
* Ensure sufficient stock levels of uniform - Effective communication between Operations Team and Warehouse Manager with regards to new starters and returned uniform.
* Manage equipment allocation to tutors, ensuring all additional equipment is signed in and out of the warehouse.
* Liaising with Regional Managers to ensure all new starters have resources ready for their start date.
* Maintain general tidiness all of areas to ensure compliance with Health and Safety Regulations.
* Work to the expenditure budget set and ensure all purchases and orders are processed correctly.
* Ensuring all new venues and services are appropriately resourced.
* Seek out efficiencies and cost savings through effective ordering.
* Breakfast and After School Care Club food orders completed weekly.
DESIRABLE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Self-motivated and able to work alone or as part of a team.
* Demonstrate leadership skills and delegation.
* Ability to work to deadlines and time schedules.
* Methodical and logical approach to tasks and systems.
* Computer literate with good communication skills both verbal and written.
