Our client, a school in County Durham with a real community feel, is seeking a qualified teacher of Humanities (Geography, History and RS) for a January 2019 start. This role will be on a full time basis.

The successful candidate will be a skilled classroom practitioner and be able to demonstrate strong classroom management skills with the ability to implement new and exciting teaching and learning strategies at KS3 and KS4.

This excellent opportunity would suit a dedicated and hard-working professional Humanities (Geography and History) Teacher who wants to join a school with strong community links.

As the successful Humanities Teacher you will be encouraged to bring new ideas to the table and work closely with the senior leadership team.
You will need strong subject knowledge and the ability to engage students in a forward thinking way. In addition you will need to demonstrate the delivery of effective student lead lesson plans.
If you have the ability to encourage, inspire and motivate students across all ability ranges and to maximise their potential, then this could be the ideal position for you.
