Some of the responsibilities of the role will include:
• Working with children aged 6 – 14 months and ensuring their needs are met through the day
• Helping with bottle feeds when needed and assisting with the weaning process
• Changing nappies and keeping the babies clean throughout the day
• Creating stimulating activities to help engage the young children in starting to learn new skills in their early life
• Ensuring that safeguarding procedures are met so that all objects and the environment are appropriate for a younger age group
• Helping to encourage socialisation between the babies thus helping to gain valuable skills

• Must have experience working with children aged 0-5 and feel most comfortable working with babies
• Must have a DBS on the Update Service or the willingness to get a new one – this will be paid for you
• Must have excellent knowledge of the EYFS especially with the younger age group
• Must have excellent knowledge of safeguarding in a nursery environment
• Should have experience or knowledge of Ofsted and how to deal with an inspection
• Available to start work ASAP in the New Year.

This position needs filling as soon as possible with the start date TBC in the first or second week of January.
