Interim Ledger Officer - £12-14 per hour – London – 12 Months

My key client, a leading education organisation in Brighton are recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join their fast-paced Finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Bank all cheques received on a daily basis
* Produce monthly bank reconciliations using online banking facilities
* Liaise directly with the bank regarding bank statement queries etc.
* Assist the Bursary Team in the preparation of invoices
* Produce interim invoices as required
* Deal with queries and input adjustments as required
* Assist the Bursary Team with credit control
* Liaise with the School’s debt collectors regarding unpaid school fees
* Issue fee receipts to parents as necessary
* Set up new pupils/parents for billing purposes
* Produce manual sales invoices as necessary
