We are looking for Shop Volunteers to help us to run our New shop in Bude; there is usually plenty to do either at the front or organising stock behind the scenes. We ask for as little or as much time as you can give, as often or as occasionally as you feel able.
You will be supported by our team to be involved in:
- sorting clothes, spotting premium items
- general shop duties
- serving customers if happy to
We'll need you to:
- be friendly and willing to help
- have good common sense
- use your own initiative and work as part of a team to help.
We would love you to be part of the team and so we are happy to provide training and in some cases we are able to reimburse some travel expenses for shifts over 4 hours, and we can provide a reference to prospective employers. We can also offer NVQs in retail skills and customer service (eligibility criteria apply).
Arrange a taster session to try out the role and meet the team.
This is a great way to gain experience, make new friends, and help Sue Ryder provide incredible care to people living through the challenges of life-limiting conditions.
