Great Opportunity for a Senior Purchasing Manager to join a global organisation.
Extremely competitive salary for an experienced Senior Purchasing Manager (please email your CV with covering letter advising of your salary expectations).
As this is a senior role you will be expected to "hit the ground running"! FMCG Backround preferred (not food) - ideally Oils/Chemicals/manfufacturing.
You will be working within the Supply Chain Team. This role is focused on purchasing/procurement/sourcing, supplier relationship management, and supporting wider supply chain functions such as inventory control and logistics to optimise business continuity and achieve strategic and EBITDA goals.
Although you will be negotiating for the supply chain you will be buildilng relationships in order you can achieve the best price without harming relationships. 10-30% travel within Europe. (A full job spec is available).

You will be responsible for…
* Management of UK Trade Marketing budget (on behalf of the Head of Marketing)
* Making operational decisions - Liaising with Sales KAMs and HoM
* Initiatives assignments with 3rd party providers.
* Works within Plan agreements & maintains comprehensive records
Requirements
* 10+ years component and commodity purchasing (chemicals, plastics, corrugate, tin plate, etc.), in a FMCG/CPG environment to include 5+ years in Europe, to include RFI/RFP/RFQ process of raw materials, negotiation, execution and communication of deliverables.
* Experience leading sourcing financial management
* Have lead supplier relationship management
* Bachelor’s in supply chain or equivalent
