This position will require the successful candidate to relocate to Paris.

Our Client:

Our client is a highly innovative and rapidly growing robotics and automation company.

Role Overview:

In order to be successful in this role you will be a qualified engineer with a strong track record of business development, or a proven business development expert within the engineering business.

Based in Paris, you will work alongside the Operations Director. As the Business Development Manager, you will be in charge of securing, managing and maintaining trusting relationships with both new and existing clients, from making the first contact to closing the deal. Your main client base will be the major executives within the airport industry. With the latest product innovations, you will be expected to at least double year-on-year sales.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

* Drive sales and revenue through targeted lead generation

* Responsible for recruiting, managing and growing the sales team

* Participate in trade shows, events and workshops with the marketing department to boost brand awareness, attract potential clients and generate new contracts

* Negotiate and finalise contracts

* Maintain in-house CRM, report and manage personal and team KPIs, build business plans to drive the business forward

Role Requirements:

* A proven, successful experience in B2B business development

* You will be a fully qualified engineer

* Familiar with the strategic tools used to boost business development

* International sales

* Experienced and highly motivated in driving direct sales through a wide business network

* Strong communication skills – you are a self-starter and have an entrepreneurial mindset
