You probably have an old phone you’re not using, or perhaps a collection of DVDs you never watch?
So do 95% of people in the UK, and the existing services available to sell unwanted electronics are cumbersome, inconvenient and deeply unsatisfying.

recyclabox exists to change that. We think selling your old electronics should be a convenient and gratifying experience.

We are an integrated IoT start-up using algorithms, AI and custom mechanics to drive a unique user experience. You will join a young, vibrant team working in the heart of Shoreditch.

recyclabox is a place where challenges and healthy debate are encouraged, where data champions seniority, and where talent transcends gender or nationality.

As part of the team, you will have the freedom to develop your own ideas and work closely with the co-founders, engineers and our partners to implement them.

In the next 12 months you work with the team to re-design, refine and reimagine our service prior to rolling out nationally and internationally.

*The role*
*Outline of opportunity*

We are looking for a head of marketing and performance. You will lead our marketing department, working closely in-house with the co-founders and engineers and out-house with digital marketing specialists and consultants to drive two key goals:

1. Develop the marketing strategy for existing live machines to improve brand recognition and drive performance

2. Collaborate with the R&D team to position the brand and UX for the next gen version of our machines

*Key Responsibilities*
• Implementation and management of on-going marketing strategy
• Manage marketing budgets, modelling and forecasting
• Manage the inception, implementation and review performance across all digital and physical initiatives
• Oversee creative direction of recyclabox brand, including content and positioning
• Maintain effective communication with all key business stakeholders to implement strategy and report on results

*Ideal background*
• Worked within a marketing team at an established digital start-up where you have contributed to strategy and growth
• Experience working with engineers to implement improved product and UX
• Experience at strategic level on digital channels e.g SEO, PPC, Paid social
