We have an exciting opportunity to join a progressive software company, working within Dev & IT and alongside the Leadership Team, the Project Coordinator will administer and organise all types of IT projects, from simple activities lasting a few hours to more complex plans lasting several months

The Project Coordinator responsibilities will include preparing comprehensive action plans, including resources and timeframes for projects. They will perform various coordinating tasks, like schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties, like maintaining project documentation.

Tasks

• Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information

• Break projects into manageable actions and set timeframes

• Liaise with internal and external clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives

• Assign resource and tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management

• Make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve

• Analyse risks and opportunities

• Arranges release notes

• Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise

• Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants

• Work with the IT delivery teams to eliminate blockers

• Use tools to monitor working hours, plans

• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports

• Acts as gatekeeper of IT delivery quality

• Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests and working with the QA team & Software Tester.

Skills

• Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role

• Experience in project management, from conception to delivery

• An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans

• Solid organisational skills, including multitasking and time-management

• Strong client-facing and teamwork skills

• Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control

• Working knowledge of project plans is a plus

• Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g. Jira)
