My client is a leading pawn broker and Jewellery retailer who are seeking an admin assistant for the Jewellery centre in Rochester.

You will be responsible for the processing of jewellery into scrap and saleable goods.

Maintaining low inventory levels at the refurbishment centre by processing incoming and outgoing stock as quickly as possible, using the relevant inventory control function, and at the same time maintaining proper control of company assets

Key responsibilities –

·Sort scrap/excess jewellery sent in from shops and auctions

·Process identified scrap as non-saleable stock

·Process new jewellery at the Centre purchased from outside manufacturers

·Provide inventory control function for supplement jewellery maintained at the Centre

·Transfer stock out of the Centre to shops

·Keeping accurate filing and records

·On a daily basis process the daily payments cycle using the Financier system

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

·Good standard of education

·Sound communication and organization skills

·Accurate and pays attention to detail

·Numerical Skills

·PREVIOUS EXPERAINCE SELLING JEWELLERY

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

·Formal examinations in Maths and English achieved

·Some experience in jewellery sales or repairs preferred by not essential

·Working knowledge of IT
