Caretaker/ Housekeeper – Maintenance team

A fantastic opportunity to join a new team with a fresh approach to managing its property

The Charity has a portfolio of land, sheltered housing, community buildings, allotments, woodlands, supported houses and offices.

We are looking for a maintenance team member to tend to our sheltered accommodation, working with tradespersons to keep our properties in good order.

We are particularly keen to hear from individuals with previous experience in building services maintenance and housekeeping. Working as part of a larger team the ideal candidate will have experience of working to achieve agreed works are completed within agreed timeframes.

You will be responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of external and internal areas within our properties which will include general maintenance, maintenance cleaning, being pro active in assessing for maintenance issues, testing of fire alarms and emergency lighting, water temperature monitoring and updating site information. You will assist with setting up furniture unblocking sinks and keeping the laundry room serviced. You will be able to provide a courteous and efficient service at all times keeping residents advised of when actions will be undertaken
