Marketing Executive (Brand / Communications)

Position: Brand and communications Executive
Location: Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire (Commutable from Stafford, Crewe, Market Drayton, Macclesfield, Cheadle and surrounding areas)
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday
Salary: £20,000 to £25,000 per annum

We are looking for a Brand and communications Executive to join us, this is an opportunity to make a difference and contribute to building the success of a business by being agile to the demands of the role.


- Research, write and edit marketing, marketing, content marketing and customer communications material
- Develop and manage content marketing calendar
- Support social media activity and monitoring
- Co-ordinate and deliver marketing communications to support broker marketing initiatives
- Support the development of the Water Plus brand and its consistent application through all internal and external communications
- Research, recommend, create and edit content marketing for blogs, social media, website and other channels
- Working with the Brand and Communications Manager and Customer Experience Manager to write and deliver customer communication to support service objectives and customer retention
- Proactively manage a communications calendar to ensure communications are written and delivered on time through all channels
- Ensure communication campaigns have clear objectives, target audiences and metrics to measure success and that communications are contributing towards the business plan objectives
- Support the creation of integrated B2B marketing campaigns to SME and Corporate strategies ensuring consistency of brand in design and tone of voice
- Liaise with key stakeholders throughout the business to develop and deliver communications to support service, marketing and sales objectives
- Where necessary brief external agencies including creative, digital and marketing agencies to deliver communications activity against the brief
- Support the delivery of events associated with marketing campaigns to ensure they are on brand and communications are effective

About you:

- Experience of developing and writing creative, effective and motivating marketing communications material
- Multi-channel marketing experience
- Good working knowledge of customer / brand experience
- Experience of working in a B2B marketing / customer experience environment
- Polished communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to tailor communication for different audiences and channels
- Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
- Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to multi task
- Customer-focused, with the ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers and build effective relationships
- Able to research and present creative ideas
