My client are a well-established facilities services company based in the Coalville area, who are looking for an accounts-experienced Office Supervisor to join them towards the beginning of January on a long term but temporary basis to cover maternity leave.

You will be working Monday - Friday 08.30 - 16.30 (37 hours per week), and pay is between £9.30 and £10.30 per hour depending on skills and experience.

The purpose of the role is to lead, oversee and control an effective on-site repairs and planned maintenance operation. This role is pivotal to the successful day to day management of the head office administrative function, and you will be the principal point of contact. Further duties will include:

* Overseeing and carrying out accounting, purchasing and order processing within the team

* Overseeing the smooth running of the head office function on behalf of the company, working in conjunction with the management team

* Providing guidance, coaching and team leadership to maximise staff capability

* Tracking the effective allocation of, and monitoring and progressing general workloads

* Carrying out formal and informal performance reviews and setting realistic and achievable targets with staff under your control

To be considered for this role you must:

* Have a 'can-do' attitude with an eye for details, and be able to transmit and encourage that attitude

* Have experience using Sage Line 50

* Have a thorough understanding of accounting processes

* Be able to independently supervise the admin team, be company focused, forward thinking and professional

* Ideally have experience of supervising a team of 2 or more administrators

* Have experience of attending staff meetings and following through on agreed actions

* Have excellent word processing, excel and power point skills

* Have experience in planning and monitoring progress of administration functions
