Temporary Credit Controller opportunity with an IMMEDIATE start!
Paying up to £14.00 per hour
Based in Maidenhead/Reading

My client is a trusted and much respected group who provide professionals in the automotive aftermarket with technical information for cars, vans and motorcycles. They have recently gone through a successful merger with an international leader in data and software for the automotive industry, home ownership and digital identity management ecosystems.

Summary of the role:
You will be chasing debts, following up information, reconciling payments, ensuring timely collection of payments, liaising with and resolving any issues with payments, invoices, credits and reporting directly to the head of department.

Credit Controller candidate profile:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 - 3 years’ recent experience of working in a Credit Control role and will have strong customer service skills with the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships. You will be a skilled Credit Controller with experience of working in a commercial business environment. You will have excellent communication skills and a proven track record of successfully reducing aged debt, and improving cash flow.

Credit Controller Key Responsibilities:

- Chase overdue accounts to ensure aging is kept to a minimum
- Analyse, post and allocate cash receipts, ensuring customer accounts are cleared down correctly and timely
- Proactively manage larger accounts to ensure they are paid before going overdue
- Work with sales team members, based in the UK and in Europe, to help with collection and obtaining relevant contacts
- Work closely with billings team, customer services team and sales team to resolve any issues identified with invoices that are delaying payment
- Analyse aged receivables of the UK company
- Report on progress of cash collection and provide forecast dates for expected cash receipts
- Manage new account opening process in accordance with company policy and controls, including providing credit analysis for proposed new customers
