The Cloud Security Consultant (SecOps) will help define and build the architecture and security capabilities of our clients cross-platform cloud environments. This is very much a hands-on role with candidates expected to define best practices, policy and standards as well as implement those controls. The candidate will deliver architectural guidance, lead technical delivery, and conduct regular security consultancy services. They will regularly collaborate with the business and cloud security organisations to address security and compliance challenges and keep up to date with best practices in the cloud community.
The role will need to define Reference Models, Roadmaps, Standards and Design Patterns to improve cloud security for development teams and ensure a consistent approach to Cloud. Assist in building a secure wrapper for the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline used to automate deployment of public Cloud services. They will ensure all security analysis, design and implementation is documented in a structured fashion and stored appropriately.
The role will require experience across multiple Cloud providers and will be based in a regional office which may require travel to other office locations as necessary.
You will need to demonstrate:
* Excellent understanding of native cloud security tools on AWS and Azure (GCP a bonus)
* Advanced knowledge of identity management and RBAC
* Advanced knowledge of core security principles from the CSA, NIST, NCSC, CSCC
* Working knowledge and understanding of multi-tier application design security
* Understand the different security models for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS and able to create governance controls for each
* Experience of designing solutions that are highly secure and compliant
* Experience of tools such as VSTS, Terraform, Vault, Jenkins
* Azure, AWS or GCP security accreditation
The Cloud Security Consultant is a key member of the Cloud Team. Reporting directly to the firm’s Global Head of Strategy and Architecture.
