We work with a specialist school for children with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) and complex needs on the West Berkshire/North Hampshire border. They provide education for pupils aged between 6-16 and cater for their therapeutic and holistic needs.

The School are currently looking for a range of staff that will be able to cope with challenging behaviour and ideally people with de-escalation training. People from the below backgrounds are always welcomed in applying for a School rule.

Ideal backgrounds: - Youth work - Sports Coach - Science graduate - Psychology graduate

Specialist facilities: - High spec Food Technology room - Well resourced Music room - Computer room & Whiteboards

You will be required to work within the class, supporting students with their work as well as helping them to appropriately engage with other students and build their confidence and self esteem to promote a positive attitude towards their schooling experience.

Someone with a confident yet empathetic approach to supporting students with additional needs would be right for this role.
