Client Payments Clerk

To ensure all transactions are booked accurately along with offering general support to Client Payments Manager in all departmental functions.


Process and input of:

1. Cheques onto client accounts

2. Outgoing and incoming Telegraphic Transfers/BACS Payments

3. Manual cheques issued and Stop and Cancelled cheques

1. Foreign Currency cheque negotiations and reconciliation

2. FX on HSBC Net evolve

3. Assist with FX Journals

4. Morning Sweeps Program

5. Payment Processing on AWOL

6. Monitor Email Requests

1. Dealing with miscellaneous tasks including internal/external client queries

Other Requirements: Process and input of:-

1. Knowledge of 4I, MS Excel and Word, HSBCNET and BACS

2. Fast accurate data input

3. Proactive attitude – energy and resourcefulness

4. Good communication skills

5. Dealing with any other roles/tasks deemed reasonable and necessary by your management/directors

6. To ensure that your knowledge of impending changes within the industry, whether regulatory or technical, are at a level to fulfil all of the above, and to inform your line manager and The Training & Supervision Department whether further training is required

7. It is your duty to report to your line manager any information which it would be reasonable to assume would be of material significance
