As our Digital Product Manager you will report to the head of digital product management, andl partner with stakeholders across the business to define and deliver digital experiences that help the customer and business achieve their goals.

The successful candidate will be accountable for the strategy and performance of Vitality UK digital products and services across website and apps. Defining the 6-12 month product road map, and leading cross functional teams to realise the product goals and maximise business value

Responsibilities as our Digital Product Manager include:

- Accountable for the success of the member experience through digital products and services

- Develop and maintain a very good understanding of the product in the market by working closely with business stakeholders and Customer & Market Analysts

- Pro-actively maintain knowledge of innovative technology developments

-Work closely with relevant business functions to develop/test new ideas and propositions for product development and obtain buy-in

- Develop and maintain product strategy and vision

- Translate product strategy into a product roadmap

- Work closely with Architects and development teams to understand the technology enablers/constraints for new products

- Build funding model/business case for new product development requiring additional funding to be secured

- Work closely with the Product Analyst to ensure they have a good understanding of the new features/epics

- Act as a subject matter expert for development teams providing additional product insight as needed/requested by the Product Analyst

- Work collaboratively with other Product Managers across Digital to refine and prioritise the overall product backlog and identify dependencies

Skills and Experience required of our Digital Product Manager:

- Educated to degree level

- Digital technology specialist with extensive experience working in a digital role

- Certified scrum product owner trained with proven experience running agile digital projects.

- Experience building consumer quality digital products,

- Proficient with drawing storyboards, creating wireframes, grooming the product backlog, writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria.

- Excellent level of understanding of software development practices and web/mobile technologies

- Knowledge and understanding of technical engineering best practice

- Ability to perform detailed customer, market and business analysis

- Relentless product roadmap planning, prioritisation and delivery execution.

- Experience of using work management tools such as Jira

- Able to produce high quality supporting artefacts to assist the team in development of product features

- Able to lead and facilitate meetings (e.g. lead workshops to elicit requirements) within business and technical teams

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with business and technical stakeholders at all levels

- Strong team working and collaboration skills
