MPI have a requirement for Aircraft Sheet Metal Workers to work on site in Cardiff.

This assignment is on a rolling 3 month basis.

You will be required to work 4 on 4 off days (06.20-18.30). Working week is Monday through to Sunday

£19.78 per hour LTD 4 on 4 off days

Initial Human Factors (mandatory)
Human Factors continuation cert
EWIS continuation cert
Fuel Tank Safety PH2 continuation cert
Apprenticeship certificates or equivalent/Forces certificates.

Purpose of Job:

Essential Qualifications:
Aerospace Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent
C &G 2597 or BTEC or Aerospace equivalent
3 years aircraft maintenance experience post apprenticeship/training.
6 months aircraft experience in the past 24 months.
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all aircraft documentation including technical drawings, manuals SRMs, AMMs, etc
Aircraft Primary Structural Repair /Modification experience, preferably Boeing wide body aircraft.
Fabrication of detailed parts.
Continuation Training:
Current Maintenance Human Factors Certificate.
Fuel Tank Safety level 11 Certificate.
EWIS (relevant groups) Certificate.

Principal Accountabilities:

Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety responsibilities.
Good hangar and workshop husbandry.
Maintain Professional standards.
Tool Control procedures.
Ensure product quality and standards are sustained.
Responsible for maintaining compliance with all BA mandatory training and tech info portal.
Delivery of output on time.
Stamp all work on completion of tasks within limits of approval
