Due to increased success this leading Engineering compnay requires new Production Team Leaders to manage and control the allocated Manufacturing Production Processes & Personnel, monitoring and reporting activities directly to the Shift Manager. Pro Active to drive forward your designated areas and assist in any associated activities within the company in order to effectively meet all key measurable, objectives and targets. Candidates of interest will be exisiting Production Supervisors with experience in the Automotive Industry.

Production Shift Team Leaders 11pm - 7am shift (Permanent Nightshift)
Location: East Birmingham commutable from Solihull, Tamworth, Coventry, Warwick, Lichfield, Leicester
Salary: Circa £29200 + Overtime + Benefits

Role Responsibilities
" Manage and control shift personnel and drive for continual improvement
" Undertake personal duties such as, Probationary Reviews, Appraisals, Disciplinary meetings, lateness / attendance, RTW's on a day to day basis
" Achieve and maintain production specific objectives & targets set for the production department
" Ensure that all production process instructions and process parameters are available and adhered to
" Ensure that all Quality procedures are adhered to.
" Ensure that all unacceptable parts are identified and corrective actions taken
" Ensure that all operators use the correct PPE
" Ensure all 5S procedures are complied with
" Any accident report forms applicable to your department to be raised and reviewed with your shift manager
" Ensure that all production reports are completed correctly by the operators
" Adherence to the company escalation procedures in a timely fashion.
" Meet all task objectives set by management and other departments
" Any other projects or tasks assigned to you by your Management team.
Role Requirements
" Experience in the Automotive Manufacturing industry
" Communicates Effectively at all Levels
" Independent and Self-Motivated
" Ability to Work Well in Teams (Good Interpersonal Skills)
" Ability to teach, train, and coach
" Qualifications - HNC & / or NEBS ( desirable)
" Experience - In depth knowledge of basic Lean manufacturing principles & processes.
" Knowledge of customer & plant based Quality , Health & Safety and Environmental requirements
" FLT licence (Desirable)
" Minimum of 2 years automotive experience
