An opportunity has arisen for an Audit Senior to join our prestigious clients Auditing Team in Swindon.

You will be involved in auditing accounts, interpreting and verifying information provided by clients; preparing annual and management accounts; completing tax computations and drafting other documents for clients, the tax office and registrar of companies.

We are looking for an experienced auditor, qualified or qualified by experience. The ideal candidate will be demonstrating experience of delegating and coaching more junior staff when on audit, as well as having excellent communication skills, the ability to prioritise and manage workloads to meet deadlines, an inquisitive mind and be organised, methodical and detail conscious, whilst remaining commercially aware.

The Audit Senior is responsible for the timely execution of risk-based internal audits in accordance with the annual audit plan, as well as assisting with other audit matters and projects.

As an Audit Senior you will be required to carry out research and reviews and make any necessary recommendations to change policies, implement new related systems or even recommend changes to employee roles and team structures.

Audit Senior role, duties and responsibilities:
An Audit Senior will be expected to perform any of the following tasks:
• Identify risk matters and present
• Produce reports highlighting issues and providing potential solutions
• Active engagement with senior staff to gain a good understanding of the business
• Ensure compliance with internal (audit methodology and risk management) and external (regulatory) requirements
Audit Senior Person Specification

Typical qualities of a successful Audit Senior include:
• Working knowledge of UK Auditing Standards (UK and Ireland)
• Planning and organising
• Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines
• Analysing and presenting recommendations

Referral Fee:
