PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:

 Perform various accounting tasks to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Account for and process financial statements and reports under supervision to accurately reflect the company’s financial results and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
 Contribute to the preparation and analysis of management reporting information to support and inform management decisions with regards to financial planning, control and performance management processes.
 Exercises independent judgement within defined practices and procedures, applies intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve problems of moderate complexity.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and EXPERIENCE:

Qualifications – Essential:

 Part Qualified accountant (ACCA or ACA or equivalent).

Experience – Desirable:

 Experience in Finance and Accounting roles (or equivalent level of skill obtained through on the job training/experience).
 May have experience and/or fundamental knowledge of management reporting and applicable applications.
 Sound commercial acumen and understanding of general and transactional accounting, cost accounting and reporting.
 Property and infrastructure or investment management industry experience preferred.

Technical:

 Experience with TM1 / Cognos / Oracle R12 or similar Management accounting system.
 Technical financial skills as required.

 Ability to act and operate independently with daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives.
 Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office applications.
