Portfolio are pleased to present an excellent opportunity within a company based in Central London. They are looking to bring on an experience Receivable Management Manager that has a proven and established background within the professional services market

This organisation is looking for someone with a proven track record of delivery within Receivables Management and has the skills and work ethic to make a positive impact from day one. The business maintain a keen eye for detail in their work and are always looking for ways to improve, the successful candidate will take on processes quickly and be comfortable within a fast paced environment.

Job Role

* To identify new business opportunities and turn them into new clients.
* Using your own initiative to drive the process through appropriate channels - direct telephone contact, networking, relationships with professionals and topical seminars.
* Produce internal marketing material and work with Partners to build and develop the services nationally, across different service lines for example; Restructuring, Outsourcing and Audit etc.
* Cold calling to identify opportunities and create meetings, allocating the correct team to attend initial meetings.
* Establish, build and maintain relationships with targets and professionals.
* Utilise marketing initiatives in line with Business Development Plan.
* Development of tailored proposal documents and sales pitches incorporating e marketing literature.
* Ensure continuity and consistency of contact with the marketplace occurs. Ensuring that the database is maintained properly and that all opportunities, referrals and work wins are recorded for full visibility of new contacts and prospects.
* Ensure work referrals are captured, giving visibility to the reciprocity both in and out of the firm and ensuring that referrals are channelled appropriately.
* Develop and control a seminar/event programme. Designed to maintain contact with all the key professionals throughout the year and to encourage new prospective businesses to attend topical seminars.
* Generate, design and implement new campaigns to raise awareness of the company and to lead to new business opportunities for the practice.
* Be a credible ambassador for the company at internal and external events throughout the region.
* Encourage cross-selling throughout the practice to maximise fee revenue.
* Organise and involve partner participation in the sales process, encouraging accountability for new business generation.
* Encourage a business development mind-set throughout the practice, placing Receivables
* Management and Pay & Bill at the front of all Partners' minds.

Person Specification

* Direct Receivables Management experience within a professional marketplace, comfortable dealing at Director/Board level through consultative selling process and operational process.
* Ability to drive a number of initiatives at any one time.
* Ability to gain Partner and peer group respect and buy-in.
* Target driven.
* Confident and professional with the ability to think on your feet.
* Ability to handle pressure and work to tight deadlines.
* Proactive, robust and personable.
* Strong presentation skills.
* Negotiation skills (both internal and external).
