We are currently working on behalf of a market leading, international business based in Sheffield with their search for a Head of Financial Reporting and Compliance. This is a really exciting time to join a business who is working through a transition period and who have big plans for expansion due to new investors.

This role will take the lead in the preparation of consolidated statutory accounts for a three site operation. You will report directly to the Finance Director.

The successful candidate will be required to:

Prepare a number of statutory accounts under FRS102.
Manage and coordinate an efficient running audit processes for the business.
Complete internal reporting requirements.
Assist with ad hoc statutory and tax requirements.
Management of two Assistant Accountants.

Suitable candidates will:

Be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) first time mover or second time movers will be considered.
Competent in the preparation of statutory accounts under FRS102.
Good IT skills including MS Excel. SAP experience would also be an added benefit.
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Strong willingness to learn and drive efficiencies.
Flexibility and adaptability in order to provide support and assistance to other team members or colleagues and to contribute to and participate in process improvement initiatives.
Attention to detail is critical to the role.
