We are currently recruiting for a Design and Print Artworker to work with one of Mitrem Recruitment's clients based in Plymouth within their marketing department.

This well know company are looking for a candidate with a background in print/marketing.

To be suitable for this role you will need to have a keen eye for detail and will be thorough in ensuring work is completed to a high standard, within brand style and consistent across all projects.

Job role:

Your main responsibilities will be to develop Artwork and campaigns for a wide variety of material such as brochures, advertising, direct mail, presentations, website assets, emails and online banners.

You will be seeing the design process through from brief to final artwork so will need to be self-motivated, organised and able to work to tight deadlines.


* Oversee a successful design from a brief through the entire process to output
* Handle multiple design briefs at a time across several different areas, predominately press, website, print and interactive media.
* Apply an in-depth knowledge of using an array of design and print tools including In-Design, Photoshop, HTML, Illustrator and Digital Printing packages.
* Review and identity cost effective method of printing/finishing and distribution, maximising value for money, whilst maintaining quality, timings and service levels.
* Produce accurate print specifications
* Project manage multiple jobs at various production stages with suppliers, including proof approvals and distribution/installation.
* Request and quality check files of finished job.
* Interpret brand guidelines across a multiple of brands.
* Stay fully conversant with new technologies and developments relevant to graphic design.

* Attend team meetings with a positive approach.
* Develop your knowledge through attending various training opportunities.
* Interact with other team members in and outside of your department.
* Undertake any other duties that are reasonably required by your Line Manager to meet the needs of the Business.

Skills required:

* A working knowledge of In-Design, Photoshop, HTML, Illustrator and digital Printing packages is essential. You will have a strong working knowledge of printing and finishing with the ability to identify cost effective methods whilst maintaining quality, timings and service levels
* Work to tight deadlines with efficiency and accuracy.
* Successfully work as part of a team and provide training where required enabling improved departmental performance.
* A keen eye for layout & attention to detail is essential as you will be adhering to the brand style guide and ensuring consistency across all projects.
* Ability to multitask

Salary: Competitive salary and excellent company benefits

Hours: 8.30am - 16.30pm Monday to Friday
