This company is a Bridgend-based telecoms and IT specialist, installing and supporting systems in businesses across South Wales and beyond.

They are looking for a confident, bright individual with excellent computer skills and experience of MS Office applications to join their Admin department. This person will assist the Office Manager and will share many of the Admin duties. They will be the first point of contact for the majority of calls to the company, so a good telephone manner is essential. Calls will frequently be requests for support and as this person will be expected to log support tickets, they require considerable attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to extract the maximum amount of helpful information from the client. Therefore a general understanding of computers would be good, but an ability to learn is more important.

It is intended that other administrative duties will fall within their remit, such as purchasing and asset tracking of stock, so any experience of accounts or book-keeping - particularly Sage 50 - would be advantageous. Experience of dealing with suppliers would also be helpful.

They require someone with experience in an office environment and the salary offered will be commensurate with the level of experience. The salary stated is a guideline only, and an especially good and well-qualified candidate can expect more. They are a small company with a reputation for friendly, approachable service and as this person is to be the first point of contact, they will expect the highest standards from them in both verbal and written communication.
