Commis Chef / Trainee Chef and a Junior Demi Chef de Partie (CDP) - Private Members' Club.
We are seeking a Commis Chef / Trainee Chef and a Junior Demi Chef de Partie (CDP) to join one of Britain's most prestigious private members' clubs based in South West London. This is a rare opportunity to learn and develop your skills and career in a high end, professional environment.
Established in 1869 and set in 42 acres of magnificent grounds, the Club is a green oasis of tradition and international renown. Recognised throughout the world as one of Britain's greatest private members' clubs, it retains its quintessentially English traditions and heritage, while providing modern facilities and services for its members.
The Commis Chef / Trainee Chef and the Junior Demi Chef de Partie (CDP) will advance their skills and knowledge working under an inspirational Executive Head Chef. Whether you are cooking / preparing food; operating outdoor barbeques; or providing essential assistants to the Head Chef, you will form part of a catering team which ensures an excellent standard of food for the members.
Both roles (Commis Chef & CDP) are full time on a roster basis, which will include regular evening and weekend work.
To qualify... You should be a Commis Chef / Trainee Chef / Demi Chef de Partie / Junior Chef / CDP / Chef de Partie / Junior Sous Chef or similar, with a CV that demonstrates:
- A passion for cooking;
- Excellent organisational and communication skills;
- An ability to work under pressure;
- Attention to detail;
- You are driven and self-motivated;
- You have a desire to learn.
In addition the Demi Chef de Partie will have some relevant experience as a Commis or Chef de Partie.
