We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a SharePoint SME for our Client based in Newcastle. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support in readiness for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) to SharePoint Online Avepoint 0365 (SPOL) SME migration activities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot MOSS and SPOL issues pre and post migration
- Support successful migration events
- Drive quality and service improvement
- Be the focal point for MOSS and SPOL activities
- Ensure entry/ exit handoffs are achieved
- Ensure any risks, issues and opportunities are captured and tracked to closure

Essential Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years technical background with Microsoft Office SharePoint and SharePoint online 0365
- An in-depth understanding of the interrelationship of data migration and provisioning
- Minimum 3 years professional experience in data migrations and various toolsets, for example, power shell scripting and robocopy
- Professional experience in organisational design and process management including methodological development of a large migration project
- Experience in robocopy
- Ability to perform relationship management analysis with applications
- Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate effectively with both internal/ external customers
- Ability to develop and maintain close working relationships with other support and development teams
- Willingness to learn and develop skills
- Good attention to detail
- Willingness to work to a shift pattern

- GCSE A* - C in Maths and English or equivalent

Due to the business needs of this role the successful candidate must have existing security clearance or be able to attain security clearance. If applicants do not currently have security clearance they must have photographic ID in the form of a passport or driving license, that is in date and reflects the applicants current address. Proof of address would also be required in the form of 2 bills dated within the last 3 months.
