Risk and Security Officer
A leading financial services company is looking for a VP - Risk & Security Officer in Knutsford for up to £65K
Your new company
You will be working for a leading financial services organisation which holds offices globally. They are undergoing some changes and are now expanding some team sizes.
Your new role
You will be working as a Risk and Security officer within the Risk, Security and IaaS division. You will primarily be dealing with Service Management agreements, looking at starting up, agreeing and creating new agreements. You will also be looking after service and operational levels models and inputting metrics for performance management.
You will be dealing with technically driven individuals within the business, so your knowledge around SAP sourcing and Java will be top notch. You will also be operationally strong in UNIX, Linux and Windows Servers and will be able to perform some risk management on these.
You will be leading the automated access provisioning and Life Cycle Management process that are being delivered within their Access Management Program. You will also be working to drive continuous improvement of Logical Access Management ensuring these align with the IT Security Standards and regulatory requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be working with 2 direct line management duties but this will grow over the course of 2017 and 2018 - so experience of growing teams and developing knowledge basis is required. The team will grow to harness their skill sets beyond the 15 tools they currently use, and this will be incorporated in the hiring process, so an awareness of new technologies and their uses is desirable.
This role is working for a financial services organisation, so knowledge of financial services and past experience is desirable but not essential. You will ideally have knowledge of architecture principles and how they can help influence the way the business works.
